WOW! So much has happened since I last posted. In fact, the reason I haven't posted is because so much has been happening.
For now, a quick update -
I made my way back to Nashville on October 3rd after being in east Texas for a week. While working in Nashville - actually, Dickson, just west of Nashville - on a FX TV pilot called Outlaw Country, I met James Dickens.
James and I hit it off immediately and have been pretty much inseparable ever since. We started dating officially on October 15th and in that same week I was offered a full-time job in Nashville.
Beginning in January I will be working for Brown United Staging in their Nashville office. I'm headed back to Maryland and PA on November 8th to finish working on, and rent out my house in Gettysburg.
Jay will come north for New Years and then we'll drive a Uhaul back home to Nashville. I'll be living with my friend Jeff - my couch surfing host! - in his home in Antioch.
So there ya go! Much has to fall into place for me to change my life so drastically. I'm certain God's hand is at work in this. I fell in love, was offered a job, and had place to live all come to me without any effort on my part at all. I wasn't looking for such a drastic change, I wasn't looking for a change at all. I was just on the road, discovering myself and meeting new people. I think I did just that. I discovered myself in a love I didn't think was possible with someone I didn't think could exist. Sure its going to be tough, but even fairy tales have drama. I'm just happy my fairy tale came true.
